Bishop Philip and Bishop Jill recently wrote to all clergy to invite them to one of five study mornings across the Diocese with the theme ‘Transforming Worship’.

Wednesday 8 March at Whalley Abbey, Whalley

The Bishops said ...

"Fresh from the inspiration of gathering together at the Diocesan Conference, we want to invite you to join us for one of the Clergy Study Mornings planned for February and March.

We are delighted to welcome as keynote speaker at each of the events Canon Dr Michael Leyden, Dean of Emmanuel Theological College.

This year’s focus will be about the primacy of worship, inspiring us with a deeper passion to worship God and equipping us with fresh insight and skills and drawing on the rich treasures of expertise in the room as we plan worship in our local contexts.

Each event will start at 9.30am, with refreshments available from 9am. The mornings will conclude with the celebration of the Eucharist, followed by a good lunch together at 1pm, enabling you to be away by 1.45pm.

Please feel free to come either to the event that is nearest, or on the most convenient date for you."
