Important note: The information in this section applies only to roles for the Diocesan Boards of Education and Finance that are advertised above this point. For the relevant forms etc related to other roles in parishes, schools etc below, please see next to the role as advertised. In relation to applying for any of the above roles ONLY, please complete the following documents and forward them to hrapplications@blackburn.anglican.org:

1. Application form and equal opportunities monitoring form.

2. Confidential declaration, if the role you are applying for requires a DBS check/centres around children or vulnerable adults.

Please do not use our standard application form if an alternative pro forma is available in the 'documents' section of the job advertisement.

Guidance on using Artificial Intelligence (AI) when applying 

The BDBE/F recognises that AI is becoming more embedded into everyday practice and approves its usage to support applications. The use of AI written text is monitored to promote authenticity during the recruitment and selection process. Inclusion of AI written text will not directly influence the shortlisting outcome, but may be considered when evaluating key criteria.
