A total of 20 new Priests and Deacons are all set to celebrate embarking on a new phase of their lives, as a weekend of ordination services for our County approaches.

Below are pictures of each ordinand, alongside links to a short biography and 'questions and answers' for each of them to help you get to know them a bit better.

Four of our ordinands also feature in special new videos talking about their journeys to ordination and released across the week before the ordination weekend. There will be pictures to view as well from the services and also group shots taken while the ordinands were on retreat.

The weekend services at the Cathedral are as follows: 

• Saturday, June 28:
  • Ordination of Deacons and Service of Welcome at 10.30am by Bishop Philip North
  • Ordination of Priests at 3pm by Bishop Joe Kennedy
  • Orders of Service for Deacons/Welcome and Priests at the Cathedral 
• Sunday, June 29: Ordination of Priests at Ashton-on-Ribble St Andrew's at 10.30am and Tarleton Holy Trinity at 4pm by Bishop Philip North
