Riding Lights Theatre Company are touring the UK.
On one of their dates they are coming to Christ Church Thornton, on Wednesday 18 May at 7:30pm (and St Thomas' Lancaster on Thursday 19 May at 7:30pm). They will be showing their new production 'My Place.'
‘My Place’ follows the stories of four children in care – an individual child, a pair of siblings, and an unaccompanied child refugee. The children have their own journeys and stories. This thought-provoking production explores how children find themselves in the care system, and the difference a safe stable and loving home can make, enabling the most vulnerable children to thrive.
The evening is co-presented by Home for Good, a national charity committed to finding a home for every child. Home for Good works with individuals, families, churches and communities advocating for children and providing resources reflecting how each of us can play a part in transforming the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
We are excited to be hosting this event. There are only two places in Lancashire to watch it. The production is recommended for adults and older children (11+).
