The following event replaces one previously advertised 'An Evening of Conversation: Belief, Faith, and the Secular World' which has been postponed. Please read the following information carefully.

Spirituality and the Idea of the ‘University of Cumbria’ is a new event on May 13 with Professor Tom Grimwood and University Chaplain Clare Shepherd at St. Martin’s Chapel, University of Cumbria, Bowerham Rd., Lancaster.

As an informal precursor to the discussion of Martin Fowler’s exhibition, Golgotha Too, Chaplain Clare and Professor Tom will be leading a discussion on the role of spirituality in the context of higher education within the contemporary world.

Beginning at the site of Bratby’s Golgotha mural, they will consider how the complexities and contradictions of faith are brought to fruition across the different spaces – physical and relational – of the University.
