Parish Nurse

St George's Church, Preston, PR1 2NP

St George’s, Preston is looking for a NMC Registered Nurse in a volunteer position to lead our new Parish Nursing Service. The role would entail helping to develop our work with those in need in Preston City centre. St George’s Church currently runs a kitchen for the homeless and those in need on Saturday evenings (George’s Kitchen) and the Parish Nurse would attend these and offer advice and help to customers. Our hope is that a Parish Nurse would be able to come alongside such people to discuss their difficulties and help with basic mental and physical health advice as well as offering prayer and spiritual encouragement where appropriate.

For an application pack or to talk further about this voluntary position, please contact Fr Calum Mullett at calum.mullett@sfp.org.uk, or on 07512 135663.
