Celebrate a year of the Ignite Project - growing children's and youth ministry across the County

Our Diocesan-wide 'Ignite Project' is holding a special service to celebrate a year of growing children’s and youth ministry across Lancashire.

The celebration service is on Thursday, August 27 at 1.30pm at St George's Church in Chorley and ALL are invited.

Ignite Project is supporting parishes across Lancashire to employ youth and children’s leaders, enabling greater engagement with local young people, nurturing their spiritual growth and ultimately seeing them become lifelong disciples of Jesus. Find out much more on this page

Sam Lee (pictured), Ignite Project Manager said: "We would love for as many as possible to join us at the service to hear encouraging stories of growth and faith from the last 12 months.

"It will also be an opportunity to give thanks for all that's happened so far and also to pray for the years to come as we prepare to launch a new cohort of leaders in September."

Get along on August 27 at 1.30pm, whether your parish is part of the Ignite Project; is interested in applying or even if you’re just excited about growing numbers of children and young people coming to faith in Jesus!
