Hugely successful mission weekend with primary schools

The Over Wyre Benefice organised an exciting Mission Weekend recently, writes Louise Morgan from St. James' Church Stalmine.

Rev. Naomi Barraclough led the event, which was fronted by special guest, entertainer 'Duggie Dug Dug'.

It reached out to three local primary schools, local young children and their families and also all five parishes within the Benefice.

Doug Horley fronted a 'Crazy Science Show', 'An Awesome Bubble Praise Party' and a Family Sunday service.

We are very grateful to the Diocese for their kind donation of £2,000 towards the cost of the weekend.
