Festival of Healing - A Healing Church for a Hurting World

Preston St Cuthbert’s church, Fulwood, will host a Festival of Healing on Saturday 31 October, 9am–3.30pm, bringing together teaching, prayer, conversation and practical exploration of Christian healing ministry.

We are delighted to welcome Dr Alison Fleetwood, she is a GP and teaches at Lancaster Medical School. She also serves as Healing Adviser for Carlisle Diocese, and has a passion for healing and freedom in both medicine and ministry. Allison lives near Kendal with her husband.

As our keynote speaker - A Healing Church for a Hurting World, Alison will help us reflect on the wholeness Christ offers and the Church’s calling to be a place of compassion, hope and restoration.

The day will include:

• Workshops exploring different aspects of healing ministry
• A marketplace of resources and ministries
• Discussion and shared learning
• Closing worship, with prayer for healing offered for all who wish to receive it

We look forward to welcoming clergy, lay leaders, volunteers, and all who seek to deepen their understanding of Christ’s healing work in the life of the Church.
