CME Session - Preaching Mark, by The Rev Peter Whittington.
Format – Online
When - Thursday 15 October
Time - 10am to 1pm.
As we prepare for the Lectionary year focused on the Gospel According to Mark, this session with explore the narrative with a focus on the three characters of Jesus, God, and the disciples.
The aim is to draw out themes and ideas to examine in the coming year as we seek to hear God speak through the text, shaping us as communities of his people and as disciples individually.
Speaker info: The Rev Peter Whittington. Liverpool Centre Evening Lead Tutor and Tutor for Licenced Lay Ministry at Emmanuel Theological College. Peter is part of the team of biblical studies tutors, and has an interest in hermeneutics and especially how we read the Bible to be shaped as the people of God, both as worshipping communities and in the life of discipleship.
