Soul Seasons - Winter Quiet Day at Whalley Abbey

God’s creative provision of seasons in nature teaches us healthy rhythms of rest and productivity.
Our Winter Quiet Day focuses on the spiritual discipline of rest and waiting, seeking meaning in liminal times and embracing stillness. Here we make space to hear the gentle counsel of the Spirit as we observe creation to see how it can point us to Jesus that we may imitate his embracing of wilderness experience.
Participants are encouraged to bring a journal, simple craft equipment or outdoor wear for their self-led quiet space. Bring a Bible/Bible app if you can.
