The Diocese is holding an important inter-cultural event on November 8 at 2pm at St Luke's Church, Brierfield.
Our new 'All Nations Convention' follows a number of similar events in previous years (pictured). Watch a promotional video here.
Bishop Joe Kennedy, Bishop of Burnley, will be preaching on the subject 'How can we follow Jesus daily?'
There will also be talks on Intercultural Ministry from Rev. Munawar Din, Vicar of St Cuthbert's Burnley and St Luke's Brierfield and Teeman Zaki, Intercultural Ministry Enabler at the same parishes.
The event will feature Gospel songs and readings of the Bible in different languages ... all representing various nations but all celebrating one common faith in Jesus.
The diverse musical choices throughout the service will also include a performance by Preston's Nigerian Choir.
The Diocese is rich in traditions and diversity, while the towns of the region are increasingly diverse in terms of ethnicities and cultures.
That's why we are having this ‘All Nations Convention’ to which all are welcome. Don't miss it!
