Finding spiritual riches in Jane Austen - Whalley Abbey

The retreat draws on the Christian aspects of some of Austen’s writing. If you’re a fan of Austen, this immersive experience is not to be missed!
This is a retreat and house party in period style!
As part of the programme we will be joining the resident community in the daily prayers in the chapel. The beautiful Great Hall and Lounge serve as the perfect backdrop and you are invited to come dressed up, although it is not compulsory. We prefer you use imagination rather than money!
As a highlight of the weekend we have a Regency dance and music group coming to lead a ball for us on Saturday night.
