Join the guided pilgrimage walk from Whalley Abbey to Blackburn Cathedral, with worship and all meals provided for the day.

Explore this fairly new pilgrim route to our Diocesan mother church on foot with a guide and a group of pilgrims from Whalley Abbey to Blackburn Cathedral. The journey begins with a fairly strenuous ascent to the top of Whalley Nab and follows paths through woodland and fields to Great Harwood, and the rest of the way is on tarmac or gravel, mostly along the canal.

Consider adding accommodation to make this a residential stay with dinner and a pilgrimage talk the night before!
