‘Equity, Diversity and Justice: Let’s Talk About Race’ Conference 1, focussed on ‘Why’ EDJ must be at the core of what we do as Christian leaders.

Conference 2 – Equity, Diversity and Justice: Towards Cultural Competence and a Curriculum for All’ will provide practical strategies to further EDJ work including an opportunity to:

  • Consider the term ‘Cultural Competence’ and explore how we can all develop it.
  • Review the ‘Inclusive Curriculum Framework’ and consider how it can impact teaching and learning for both teachers and students.

We are delighted that Professor Paul Miller will be returning to deliver a keynote speech to challenge our thinking and inspire our practice.

The wonderful Dr Krish Kandiah OBE, Founder of The Sanctuary Foundation will present his keynote ‘No Child Left Behind’ focussing on inclusion in all its various forms and exploring why inclusion matters.

Cost - £150 per delegate for schools who pay into the Blackburn Diocesan Board of Education Family of Schools SLA. For non members the cost is £300 per delegate.
