Chorley Deanery Mission 'Come and See' is taking place across the weekend of 17-19 May.
People at each church in the Deanery are being encouraged to engage individually and collectively with the weekend and with the opportunity it will provide to introduce people to the gospel message and for them to 'come and see' for themselves who Jesus is.
Churches in the Deanery are being encouraged to put on events in their parishes making use of various guest speakers the Diocese can provide, or to take guests along to several key events which include ...
- Friday 17th is Quiz Night! Quizzes will be hosted by various parishes this evening: Whittle-le-Woods (7pm), and Adlington (7.30pm). A family-orientated quiz with a Gladiator testimony at Wrightington Parish (6.30pm) and a Sports Quiz hosted by Coppull (6.30pm). Create a team and take them along!
- Saturday 18th is all about young people! Youth Event (for Year Up) at St Michaels CE High School at 5pm.
- Sunday 19th Deanery Celebration Service at St John's Coppull at 6.30pm.
A chance to worship together and give thanks for the weekend.
