This online course is for churches and community groups who want to raise awareness and take practical action against county lines.

Course Dates:

Session 1: Tuesday 16 February 7pm - 9pm

Session 2: Tuesday 23 February 7pm - 9pm

County lines is becoming one of the most prevalent forms of modern slavery in our country. Breaking County Lines is designed as a resource to enable churches and communities to understand and raise awareness of the scale of the problem and spot the signs of its presence. It also looks at ways of building resilience in our communities with an emphasis on the protection of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

The course is delivered through two online live sessions set one week apart. A resource pack will be sent out beforehand with supporting videos and resources to be watched before the course begins.

We believe that the tools to end modern slavery already exist within the local community and that the Church has a primary responsibility in leading these efforts. The Clewer Initiative enables Church of England Dioceses and wider church networks to develop strategies for detecting modern slavery in their communities and help provide victim support and care..
