Clergy Walk to take place on Monday 6 May (Bank Holiday Monday).
It will be led by Bishop Philip North and Archdeacon Mark Ireland.
This walk is going to Pillar from Wasdale.
Please be aware, this is quite a challenging walk and really only for the more experienced walkers. As this is a strenuous walk, a request has been made that no dogs be brought on this walk please.
Due to some rocky, steep climbs, you must have sturdy walking boots for this walk.
Keep the end in sight, because you can have a well deserved Bank Holiday drink in the Wasdale Head Inn after you have finished!
If you would like to join Bishop Philip and Archdeacon Mark on this walk, please reply to Kelly Quinn at Kelly.firstname.lastname@example.org stating which place you would like to meet:
19 Clarence Park BB2 7FA at 7.45am
Shireshead PR3 0AE at 8.25am
Wasdale Car Park CA20 1EX at 10am (traffic depending)
A confirmation group email will be sent out (including email address so that you may communicate) week commencing 29 April with further information on the walk and a projected weather forecast.
More information on the walk and the photo above is of the walk to Pen-y-Ghent in March.
