Lancaster

Street Pastors is a national organisation with up to 4,000 volunteers at time of writing. All committed to seeing God make a difference in our towns and cities.

Lancaster Street PastorsLancaster Street Pastors go out into Lancaster Town Centre every Saturday night and meet with people coming out of Pubs and clubs and generally milling around. We spend time listening caring and helping for those in need. Anything from a cheery hello to waiting and reuniting people with friends, making sure they get home safe. Calling ambulances for those less fortunate, giving out flip flops for girls in bare feet and providing Spikeys for alcohol bottles. (See news letter)

It has been a fantastic year with many people being helped and encouraged. It is great to see the church from different denominations working together and taking the love and peace of God with them. I especially enjoy working with each of the teams and getting to know tem and see each member grow in confidence

Over the coming year we look forward to seeing Lancaster Street Pastors increase in numbers and influence across our town, to see peoples lives changed by the love of God and make a real difference in our community. It is also great to see the church working with local agencies and being part of solving the issues we have in our society.
