A day of Prayer & Fasting

followed by an evening joining together for

Prayer, Worship and Praise

Meeting @ St Aidan’s Church, Mill Hill


From 6pm



In order to qualify as a Street Pastor you must attend the training events

The first five training days will all be at St. Gabriel’s church hall, Brownhill, Blackburn BB2 9RQ, meeting at 9.30 for a brew, ready to start at 10.

Saturday 16th January – Session 1 – Roles and Responsibilities (1) – led by Ian Humphreys – Street Pastors Area Representative for the Ascension Trust. This is a joint session with Preston, Lancaster & Nelson

Saturday 23rd January – Session 2 – Safeguarding & Engagement with young people – led by Helen Crane on behalf of BwD Youth Services, with input from Dave Dutton from the “Engage” team.

Saturday 30th January – Session 3 – Knowing your community – led by Sam Chapman, Manager of BwD Community Safety Partnership and Patrick Deeth BwD SW area Neighbourhood Manager

Saturday 6th February – Session 4 – Statutory Agency: Police – led by Sgt Kevin Jones, Lancashire Constabulary

Saturday 27th February – Session 5 – Good News! – Being and bringing! – led by Simon Thomas for the Ascension Trust

Street work will commence mid-February.
