Health & Healing Ministry

The Ministry of Healing is Christ’s Ministry

Healing and wholeness matters for everyone, and the healing ministry is one of the greatest opportunities the Church has today for sharing the Gospel.

Bishop Nicholas serves as the House of Bishops’ Adviser on Healing Ministry as well as being the Warden of the Guild of St Raphael. He has appointed Health and Healing Advisers to encourage and develop the ministry of healing within the Blackburn Diocesan. They are available as a resource to anyone seeking further information, support or advice and they are also happy to visit parishes or deaneries to talk about healing ministry.

If you are interested in beginning a healing service in your parish, you may find it helpful to contact a parish in your area which already holds healing services.
