Going for Growth - Our Growth Strategy
Since 2006, the Bishop's Staff have published an annual growth strategy and made this available for distribution to parishes at the Archdeacons' Visitations. This strategy emerged from the work on Mission at the diocesan level. Parish Mission Action Planning (MAP) remains at the centre of the strategy, and the feedback from parish MAPs is used to work out how the diocese can better support parishes in their mission work. Specifically, the Bishops' Staff undertook to do work in three main areas:-
- Prayers and Holiness
 Attracting more Young Families
- Providing resources for Nurture Courses
