Diocesan Liturgical Committee

The Diocesan Liturgical Committee (DLC) is charged by the Bishop to conduct an educational exercise on Common Worship now that it has been accepted into the bloodstream of the Church of England and the diocese.

He has also asked the DLC to encourage people in their spirituality.

Having discussed at length the Bishop's requests and the current state of the Church's Liturgy, the DLC agreed the following strapline to describe its work:

"To help people encounter the living God, by resourcing and supporting the local Church in its worship."
