Parish Share Budget 2017: Finding out more

The Parish Share Budget booklet for 2017 can be viewed via this link.
As well as viewing it online the booklet can be downloaded for printing locally and saving for future use. You are also encouraged to share the link to it on email with parishioners if you have local email distribution lists.

The booklet contains an overview of the 2017 Budget in graphic form plus information and advice about good stewardship and the Biblical principals underpinning Parish Share.

You can also read a very detailed budget breakdown, as presented in the papers for Diocesan Synod by clicking here.

In addition to the booklet, this year the presentation to Diocesan Synod by Canon John Dell, Chair of the Blackburn Diocesan Board of Finance Ltd, can be viewed and heard on our YouTube channel (slides combined with audio) by clicking on this link.

You can also download the slides in the original PowerPoint format (with embedded audio) by clicking here. You can then listen to the presentation by clicking on the loudspeaker icons on each page.

Alternatively you may prefer to read the accompanying presentation notes which are available by clicking here.

Treasurers and PCC secretaries are also encouraged to promote the booklet and the other links above in their regular local communications channels, such as parish magazines and websites.

If you have any questions about the budget you can contact the Finance Team via the Diocesan Office main switchboard number 01254 503070.
