Get Your Church Noticed; Communications Training
A Communications and Marketing Advice Day takes place on October 7 at the Diocesan Offices, Clayton House, Walker Business Park, Blackburn, BB1 2QE from 10.30am until 3.30pm.
It is entitled ‘Get Your Church Noticed’.
Ronnie Semley, our Diocesan Communications Manager, will be joined by his colleague Neil Pugmire, the Communications Manager for Portsmouth Diocese and author of the book ‘How to Get Your Church Noticed’ to lead the session and give some practical, common sense, ideas for promoting your church, its mission work and activities in your immediate local area.

The advice you will receive on ‘Get Your Church Noticed’ will be particularly helpful for your church in relation to community outreach and mission events as we collectively continue to engage in our Diocesan Vision 2026: Healthy Churches Transforming Communities.
‘Get Your Church Noticed’ is open to anyone and is completely free. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day. Please bring your own lunch. The lunch break will be from 1pm until 1.30pm and you can use the kitchen facilities (with seating) here to eat. There is also a microwave in the kitchen if you want to warm your food. We will break for coffee from noon to 12.15pm and from 2.30pm to 2.45pm.
Although Eventbrite will be the preferred method of booking you may want to pass on the details to someone who would prefer to call and book instead.
