Thy Kingdom Come - Prayer Event at Blackburn Cathedral at 7.30pm with Roy Crowne from Hope
On Wednesday May 24 at 7.30pm, on the eve of Thy Kingdom Come, Blackburn Diocese is holding a central prayer event at Blackburn Cathedral to which everyone is invited. On Wednesday 24th May at 7.30pm, the Eve of "Thy Kingdom Come", Backburn Cathedral is the venue for the Lancashire "Thy Kingdom Come" Beacon Event. At this, people from across the diocese will gather together to pray for the empowering of the Holy Spirit for effective worship before going back to our own towns and villages to continue to pray together during that time.
The evening will include times of prayer, sung worship, and we will also hear from Roy Crowne, HOPE Together Executive Director and one of the founders of HOPE who is joining us for the evening. The vision for HOPE is a growing church, showing Jesus’ love and telling the Jesus story at the heart of every community. Being part of HOPE 2018 means being intentional about inviting people to become followers of Jesus.
Please plan to come individually, as a family, as a church so that we can pray together and then go back to our communities to continue to pray during this period.
