If you wish to find out about joining any of the groups below contact  Rev Ken Howells and we will put you in touch with the relevant people.

Rainbows

St James' Rainbows are 5-7 year old girls, they meet once a week at St James' School from 5.30pm - 6.30pm.
The leaders are:
Nicola Stocks (Guider)
Nichola Slater (Young Leader)
Jean Worthington (Unit Helper)
Children are welcome to go along with a parent/guardian to any meeting of Rainbows and 'give it a go' to see if it is for them, the leaders will make them most welcome (they could even bring friends that are the same age.. who knows they might all have fun).

If they do decide to come each week it is just £1.00 per meeting, what a bargain!  They do crafts/games/keep fit/sporting games/chat!/activity days with other Rainbow groups/church parade and over all have lots of fun!

If you wish to know more about the Guiding movement, and in particular Rainbows, try checking out their website www.guides.org.uk/members/rainbows/
it explains all about rainbows and guiding in general if you click on 'back to members'.

Some of their art work can be seen in the Gallery.

  Sunday School Prayer

Lord, bless the children with all their lives to live,

And Lord we thank the teachers for all the help they give.

Lord, please help us to pray each day, to learn more about you,

And thank you for our friends and family and all the things they do.

Lord, we like St James' and all the games and fun,

We love to learn about you and Jesus, your own Son.

Amen
